For many years the elders have challenged Walnut to give extra on the fifth Sundays of the year. These extra gifts down through the years haved enabled the Walnut congregation to:

* Maintain a healthy building fund

* Purchase our property on Moores Lane

* Support special mission work

* Stay on target with our church budget

 

Since 2004 the congregation has been challenged to DOUBLE-UP on the fifth Sundays.  In recent years all funds above budgetary needs have gone into Building Fund for Phase Two of our masterplan--a Family Life Center.
